Following Brammo's big Polaris deal comes more good news for the electric motorcycle maker. After evaluating the Brammo Enertia for over a year, the Hong Kong government has decided it likes the machines and will now begin replacing its older gas-burners used by some of its agencies with electrics.
For the police force, this means some of their luckier mounted officers will soon be serving and protecting aboard the 2012 Enertia Plus LE – a law enforcement version of the 80-mile battery-powered bike. For certain engineers in the Water Supplies Department, this means they'll be riding the civilian Enertia Plus, simultaneously combating the city's serious air pollution problem whilst raising their personal cool factor by about, oh, 500 percent.
The bikes will be supplied by Brammo's official distributor in the region, the Jackie Chan co-founded JCAM Advanced Mobility Company. Official press release awaits after the break.
